Canvas Restaurant has been voted as the best brunch spot during the 2017 Best of Lake Nona contest – and it’s really no surprise.

Their specialty brunch cocktails are uniquely crafted and made with fresh ingredients and the highest quality spirits. One unique cocktail that guests love is the Strawberry Rhubarb Mule – made with mint, house-made strawberry-rhubarb jam, fever-tree ginger beer, and reyka vodka.

The Nona Sunset is also a refreshing option for a delectable brunch cocktail. A fun fact is the cost of the dink is what time sunset is that day. For example, if the sunset is at 5:30m then the price of the cocktail would be $5.35! Pretty incredible right?

Canvas Executive Chef Bryan Thoman is gifted in his craft of combining exceptional ingredients while creating the menu for Canvas. All of the brunch options are made with wholesome food, with many herbs picked from the garden right in the front of the restaurant.

The Sweet Potato Kimchi Pancakes is an item I have never had before- this dish is literally an experience for your taste buds! It has the perfect twist of flavors, including tomatillo aioli, bringing a hint of heat in every bite. I had to ask the chef what inspired this particular dish. Years ago, he saw a variation of kimchi pancakes in a Food & Wine magazine and decided to cook up his own unique version years later at Canvas.

The brunch at Canvas is an absolute must try. Locals and travelers not only love their menu options, but also the eclectic beautiful ambiance and architecture of the venue. It is no wonder why Canvas has also won the title of best atmosphere under the 2017 Best of Lake Nona.
